During 2020/21 the LSTA worked hard on developing partnerships with organisations also wanting to improve the quality of training across the industry.

The National Association of Chimney Engineers (NACE) are the foremost authority with regards to compliant chimney lining, flue and chimney construction, and the NACE cast in-situ concrete lining system.

In partnership with NACE the LSTA will be delivering the On-Site Assessment & Training NVQ level 2 in Chimney Sweeping and Chimney Engineering Technician, as well as providing quality, cross industry CPD sessions.

How to Apply Applications for registration are now being taken from interested parties wishing to start the NACE NVQ in January, 2022.
