Entries for the LSA Young Leadworker of the Year Competition 2015 close on 31 January, so there are just two weeks left to register as an entrant. Full details are available on the LSA website.
Are you a leadworker under 30 years of age who has done some work you are really proud of? Or are you an employer who has some great staff you want to put forward for an Award to recognise their skills?
The LSA supports the development of skills throughout the lead industry and is launching its search to find this year’s Young Leadworker of the Year. The competition is open to all UK leadworkers who are aged 30 or under on the closing date of 31st January 2015.
The LSA is running one-day seminars looking at all the different applications of lead or hard metals such as copper and zinc. Each seminar is CPD accredited and is ideal for anyone involved in the specification, design and handling of lead or hard metals in the construction industry.
Following the success of the Open Day we ran at our training centre in April we are planning another opportunity for contractors, sole traders/installers and architects and specifiers to come and see what we do this Autumn.
The LSA’s training and technical experts will be on hand through out the RCI Show to help you find out all you need to need about British Standard Rolled Lead Sheet as well as:
- Training opportunities from basic courses to Specialist Apprenticeships and City and Guilds
- Technical guidance on tricky installation issues
- Hands-on demonstrations
- Special RCI Show discounts on publications and training
