Aims of the course
To offer guidance on the use of rolled lead sheet and how it should be specified and detailed correctly. Also to assist in identifying problem areas and how to decide whether to repair or renew existing leadwork on buildings. On completion of the seminar delegates will have a better understanding of the use and working techniques for lead sheet and how to inspect leadwork installations. In attending this seminar the attendee should be able to help supervise the installation of leadwork details more efficiently. There is also a practical hands-on experience during the day where attendees can experience working with lead sheet, and can carry out lead bossing and lead welding / burning to appreciate the malleability and versatility of Rolled Lead Sheet

This one-day seminar is for those involved in the construction industry who, need to have a better understanding about the day to day use and installation of Rolled Lead Sheet, and will provide an introduction to the technical and training services available from the industry, and give guidance on the use of Rolled Lead Sheet, how it should be installed, and inspected to ensure work follows current guidelines.
You or your staff will gain knowledge of lead welding and bossing techniques and how to check that leadwork is being installed to current guidance, there-by improving the quality of leadwork and productivity on site.
