CPD and Seminars
The LSA is part of the RIBA CPD Network and can arrange a CPD at your practice or organisation. Ideally we ask for a minimum of ten attendees.
CPDs help make participants aware of how to inspect and detail and specify leadwork, assist in identifying problem areas, and whether repair or renewal of lead sheet is required. Lunchtime and Evening CPD events can be carried out at your offices, and where appropriate tailored to suit the specific needs of your practice or organisation.
These are free of charge and your organisation will also be provided with discounted access to the e-book version of Rolled Lead Sheet – the Complete Manual.
If your numbers are fewer than ten please contact the office on 01622 872432 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange for one of our Regional Marketing Managers to contact you with a view to linking you with other practises in your area or alternatively to arrange for you to join one of their forthcoming arranged CPD’s.
Alternatively, the Lead Sheet Association has also introduced a condensed, on-line CPD version of its popular Design and Specification of Rolled Lead Sheet, for those wishing to take a RIBA approved CPD in their own time, or for those who wish to revisit or brush up on their lead skills.
A voiceover guides you through a range of technical situations including how to specify and detail lead correctly and how to inspect existing leadwork. You will also find out how the LSA’s Technical Support team are here to help you with every step of the way through a project, from planning through to completion.

The LSA delivers short Courses and Seminars for the design professional, architect and surveyor. It also has courses for supervisors and those responsible for overseeing lead sheet detailing to make sure that it is carried out to the LSA recommendations.
The LSA’s seminars include: Estimating, Specifying and Supervising for Leadwork – along with specific content for Merchants and Continuing Professional Development (CPD). We can organise bespoke seminars for groups in other UK locations and the Republic of Ireland. Please contact us to discuss any requirements you may have. Click here for more details »
