To provide an introduction to the Lead Sheet Association and the type of assistance available form the Technical Officers. To offer guidance on the use of lead sheet and how it should be specified and detailed. To assist in identifying problem areas and how to decide whether to repair or renew lead work.
This course also follows the City & Guilds 6129 Technical Certificate leadwork content so tutors have the opportunity to fabricate all of the necessary components they would normally when delivering the plumbing qualifications.
Who should attend?
College Teachers/Lecturers involved in delivering the leadwork element of the Basic Technical Certificate Plumbing Level 2.
- Review of main causes of failure in leadwork.
- How to ensure lead sheet is correctly detailed.
- Hot working and how to avoid the risk of fire.
- Opportunity to practice outside your own working environment.

The course will be delivered throughout the year at our purpose built Training Centre in East Peckham, Kent.

Safety Boots, overalls or warehouse coat, A4 notepad, Pen & pencil are all you need as the tools, materials, and lead sheet required for the course are included in the price.
